  we were staying on hay on wye for 3 days and after long walks were keen to eat out. The Tapas Bar (Tomatilo's) is good but all the pubs are grossly overpriced and we like a Curry so ignored the mean-spirited 3.7 score and went to Red Indigo. It was one of the best British Indian Restaurant Meals we have ever had (and we have had plenty). The service was unobtrusive and unpushy (no force filling of wine glasses or nagging to buy another beer). The dishes we had from mains to veg side dishes to nan and pilau were all really generous, with high quality tender meat, not too much oil, really flavoursome and the whole lot came to £32 for two (as opposed to ludicrous greed by local gastropubs). I would eat there again today if i hadnt already come home. Ignore the 3.7. Its excellent

  Cocked up our takeaway order, so despite food being nice, our order was short. Phoned up, explained, they said they'd sort it next time??? Guess what, no next time!!! Check the orders!!
